Impossible Acres is a little farm specializing in direct marketing of produce to regular folk like you. The farm is located in northern California between the towns of Davis, Dixon, Woodland, and Winters.
We currently have 2 main seasons when we are open to the public.
The first season is located at
“The Pickin’ Patch”
The closest address to “The Pickin’ Patch” is
26565 County Road 97 D, Davis, Ca, 95616
“The Pickin’ Patch is open from late May – July each year. For 2017, we open on Saturday, May 27 at 9:00 am. We close on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
At “The Pickin’ Patch” we have small orchards and berry patches set up for people to pick their own produce. You can get tree or vine ripened apricots, plums, pluots, apriums, cherries, blackberries, raspberries, nectarines and peaches. (Other stuff, too!) It is hard to predict when the different crops will be ripe each year, so you never know what you might be picking when you come.
For 2017, there is no charge to enter the farm and parking is free. You only pay for the produce you pick.
The Pickin’ Patch is open to the public Wednesday-Sunday every week starting the last week in May. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except if a holiday falls on a Monday. Then we will likely be open on the holiday. For example, we plan to be open on Monday, May 29 for Memorial Day. We are open 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Wed.- Sun.
The second season is our pumpkin patch which is located at Grandpa’s Barn. It is only open from October 1- 31 each year. Grandpa’s Barn is on the opposite corner of the farm near, well, Grandpa’s Barn, on the corner of 98 (Pedrick Rd.) and 31 (Covell Blvd.) The address of “Grandpa’s Barn” is 37945 County Road 31, Davis, CA, 95616.
(Eeek! I don’t have time to tell you about Grandpa’s Barn and the pumpkin patch right now…. Just don’t accidentally go there because it is NOT open in the spring or summer. Only The Pickin’ Patch is open during the spring and summer.)
