We are sorry, but the Pickin’ Patch will not be open for the spring of 2019. The flooding this past winter and the late spring rains pretty much ruined the crops. The weather also prevented us from doing the necessary preparations to welcome folks onto the farm this spring.
But looking on the bright side, the new trees and berry bushes are very, very well watered and all of them seemed to have miraculously escaped the death from drowning we feared.
The pumpkins, since they are planted later in the season, will not be affected by the wet weather this past spring. So we are looking forward to opening in October as usual, with the pumpkin patch.
Hope to see you here! — Katie Kelly
